Role: 2 nd Line Technical Support Location: Hybrid working (Home-based + Worcestershire 2/3 days per week) Salary: £36,000 – 41,000 + on-call payments + comprehensive Employee Benefits Key Skills: 2 nd Line technical support and as many of the following as possible: Citrix, MS Exchange, MS Servers, Office 365, Powershell, Azure, Intune, Databases, Javascript, VOIP, Networking (routing and firewalls) Summary Our client is a technology led, high-profile Public-Sector organisation undergoing a period of growth as they make significant investment into the technologies and technical support teams that help deliver their essential services. Ensuring the highest levels of service across the User estate, they are recruiting for a number of 2 nd Line Technical Support Specialists. The role: Working collaboratively within the Specialist Technical Support Team, providing high level technical support to Customers across ICT services, specialist applications and IT equipment. Mentoring some of the more junior members of the team at 1 st line level. About you: We are looking for candidates with 3+ years in technical support and with as many of the following technologies as possible: Citrix VDA Citrix Xenmobile MDM Microsoft Exchange Microsoft Servers, including roles and features (Powershell, IIS, DNS/DHCP .. and so on) Microsoft SCCM Microsoft Office 365 – Exchange Online, Azure, Intune, Migration and administration Microsoft SQL or Oracle Databases Datastage (ETL) Web Development – Coldfusion, Javascript Enterprise VOIP Telephony or call-centre solutions (not endpoints or analogue) Networks, routing, firewalls You will need to possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be a great problem solver!
