About the role: The BI Developer will join a small, collaborative BI development team.  The role will focus on updating current client solutions and the continued development of the BI product suite.  This role would suit someone who has gained 1 to 2 years’ experience in data analytics and BI / visualisation, and is now looking to gain exposure to key global clients and further their career. As part of the development team, you will be required to work independently on technical elements and also contribute to the wider discussions around solution design.  You will be supporting clients directly; taking incoming queries and deploying solutions and updates as required.  You will also be involved in new product development; taking part in concept design, technical specification and delivery of development.   As a small team, cultural fit will be key and we are looking for someone with a real passion for design and analytics and a thirst for knowledge.  Our Client is at the leading edge of technology solutions so you will be required to absorb the latest innovations in the market and apply this in the role to the benefit of clients. ​ Requirements You should have 1 - 2 years prior experience in Tableau or Power BI development or similar BI visualisation tools, (further training will be given where required).  Knowledge of SQL, database architecture and programming will be an added bonus) Degree in a relevant field or at least 1-2 years’ experience within a similar role Understanding of database design and concepts Solid understanding of SQL Knowledge of programming languages would be an advantage (i.e., JS, Python) Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales as required Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative Excellent problem-solving skills Keen interest in technology and the latest trends Benefits Competitive Salary Company Pension Scheme 25 days holiday Supported learning & development opportunities
