Sales & Marketing Manager Location: Hybrid Role – Staffordshire/Homebased Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + commission  Job Type: Full-time, Permanent,   Monday to Friday Job description Are you passionate about Sales & Marketing and looking for a challenge? Our Managed Service Provider client who provide IT helpdesk support and IT consulting to businesses across the UK (and occasionally beyond) are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Sales & Marketing Manager who is a driven leader to support and manage their Sales team. Our client has three core customer-nurturing and lead-generation functions within the company; Account Management, Marketing and New Business Development. The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, growth and ongoing management of those three departments, reporting metrics & statistics back to the Managing Director. This role is a critical part of the Leadership Team. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Leading the department You have overall responsibility for the three teams, including their wellbeing, execution of “day to day” tasks and the continual improvement of the departments. All aspects of Personnel management (such as holiday approval, annual reviews, return-to-work meetings, performance, disciplinaries, quarterly conversations, etc.) Maintain the company culture by living & breathing our values and helping your team to do the same. Coordinate, schedule & staff your team to a high level of utilisation without causing undue stress. Continual Improvement Develop & manage the processes and KPIs used within your department. Be a driver for constructive & disruptive change.  You will continually be analysing and assessing your department, looking for opportunities to improve throughput and customer service. As part of our “Be Better Than Yesterday” methodology, you must ensure that your team manage their major tasks/activities using our systems and reflect upon their work to learn lessons to improve process. Day-to-day Develop and run our sales & marketing strategy Be a point of escalation for issues located within the departments Attend client meetings to build relationships and instil confidence. Run regular meetings for your department and attend regular meetings as part of the leadership team. Provide support to other areas as required.
