Leadership Development Manager

Leadership Development Manager Location: This is a hybrid role; you will be expected to travel and also be based at various locations across the Norfolk and Waveney region. The role will be incredibly visible and on site with different stations each day, but the role may also work from home throughout the week where needed. Salary: £41,659 to £47,672 dependant on experience The Leadership Development Manager will be responsible for the design and delivery of people and organisational development strategies, interventions and the management of change programmes. The role entails supporting the development of leadership, the organisation’s strategic and operational plans, providing professional facilitation of programmes, information, advice, and services, as required. Main duties of the job The Leadership Development Manager will be an integral part of equipping the organisation with the skills needed to create a culture that embodies our Values, Behaviours and Leadership Framework. Part of this will be creating a culture of ‘Speaking Up’, that is open, transparent and supportive of staff that have genuine safety or wellbeing concerns and as such will support the Freedom to Speak up Lead Guardian (FTSULG) or deputy through escalation and/or signposting. Working with various teams, to support a programme of continuous organisational performance improvement which helps achieve its ambition of becoming a high performing organisation. With specific focus on: Management and leadership development Career path planning and Performance Appraisals Talent management and succession planning Future workforce development, including work experience Strategic leadership and service development Analytical, judgement and decision making Resources management and responsibility Freedom to speak up Communication and stakeholder engagement Additional information Working within a consultancy and coaching approach, the post holder will collaborate both internally and externally to diagnose, design, facilitate and evaluate organisational development interventions to ensure delivery of our strategy vision, values, and desired culture. This will enable us to provide excellence, whilst providing a working environment that staff would recommend as a great place to work. Offer support to the FTSULG and deputies through the course of the Leadership Development Management (LDM) role with regards to concerns that are raised confidentially. The LDM will play a role linking in with staff, volunteers, and management teams to ensure safety concerns are acted upon and/or signposted in a timely and effective manner. This is with the aim of informing, developing, and improving systems and processes and to embed and sustain improvements.
