This is a superb chance to join a leading UK software company which could offer superb opportunities to progress as well as an exciting and varied role.  This opening is to work in a division which produces NHS records management software and will involve fixing issues and helping on integrations of the software.            Responsibilities will include –   To log, maintain and resolve helpdesk incidents and requests within agreed SLA timetables Escalating major incidents and providing regular communications as appropriate to customers, senior team members and stakeholders Take receipt of the telephone calls that come in to the team To participate in the out of hours on-call service desk rota if applicable To replicate bugs related to the software and supported hardware To perform customer data fixes using database tools To advance call resolution with other departments as necessary Provide reactive hardware/software support on site as necessary Carry out proactive tasks such as software upgrades, patch applications and preventative maintenance Provide assistance to the Sales and Delivery teams where necessary Compliance with the GDPR, ISO 20000-1, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards when carrying out duties Attend meetings with customers and business partners as required   To be considered candidates will need experience working in an IT service desk or support role.  You’ll need excellent communication skills and some technical skills in SQL.   You’ll need a good understanding of IT applications and some server knowledge.  A driving license is also essential for the role as there could be occasional travel to customer sites.   About The Company My client are a leading provider of digital solutions and managed services for public sector and regulated markets.
